FAQ'S

Drop off begins at 9:15 a.m. And camp starts at 9:30. A.m. There is no early drop off available.
Yes, there is a weekly rate of $300 per week, however, priority will be given to those who sign up for one or two full halves.
The cost is is $775/half, with absolutely no additional fees.
No, all campers must bring their own lunch to camp.
Knees and elbows must be covered.
No, only staff members may have phones in camp, and all other devices, including 24/6, are not allowed. Campers miss out on the activities and social interactions when they are distracted by such devices.
Please see the application section of this website, and please note that spaces are not reserved until the application is completed and the $300 deposit is received. The $300 deposit counts towards the cost of camp.
No, but we can provide a receipt for tax purposes.

About the Director:
Mrs. Ruchama Landa went to camp Raninu for almost a decade and loved every minute of it! She spent many summers as camper, teen camper, and in various staff positions giving her tremendous camp experience. As a teacher/morah for 18 years, she has extensive experience working with children and teens, bringing out the best in each and every one of them.

Ruchniyus:
Camp Swirl strongly emphasizes middos tovos and personal growth throughout the Summer. A Camp Swirl motto announced regularly is, “Always be kind”. Davening is taken very seriously and we are part of a daily program where we daven for an Israeli soldier by name. Mrs. Landa always says, “the positive growth potential over the course of the Summer can be life-changing”.

Fun trips:

Every week camp Swirl goes to an exciting off-campus location. Some of the past trips include: Guppy Gulch, Amusement Parks, Ice Skating, Urban Air, and Skyzone. The highlight of the summer is our grand trip to Great Wolf Lodge water Park. The water park is fully rented out by Camp swirl! The oldest bunk gets to sleep over at the hotel with adult supervision.

Daily Activites:
Every 30 minutes the bunks rotate activities keeping the day stimulating and fun for every camper. Activities include, arts and crafts, baking, sports, dance, go-karts, choir, drama, and a hair design course given by a professional hair designer. There are also various specials such as, concerts, acrobats, shows, airbrush fun and much more!

Swimming:
Camp Swirl travels by bus to an amazing pool campus featuring an Olympic size pool, splash pad, lounge chairs, and changing rooms. We begin with a short period of instructional swim, followed by an hour of free swim. Certified lifeguards are present at all times.
